Quality & Trust

Certified Quality, Proven Trust

The certifications we hold, the standards and tests every product goes through, and the consultants and clients who approve us.

In critical facilities like hospitals, pharmaceutical plants and government facilities, the true measure of trust is strict compliance with specifications and technical approvals before any commercial consideration.

This page answers that review in one place: the systems the company is certified to, the standards each product is built and tested against, and the consultants and clients who have approved us. Each mark says who issues it, what it covers and where it applies. Copies of our certificates are available on request for tender and audit files.

Certifications & standards

Grouped by what they govern: how the company is run, how the product performs and is built, and where clean air and fire safety are on the line.

Management systems

How the company is run: documented, audited systems for quality, for the environment and for the people on the factory floor.

  • ISO 9001

    Quality Management Systems

Issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

    What it is
The international standard for quality management systems. A certified company works to documented processes, checks its output against them, records what it finds and corrects the cause of any fault, and is audited on all of it by an independent certification body.
    How we apply it
Applied across design, fabrication and testing in all three factories.
    Applies to
    Every product we make
  • ISO 14001

    Environmental Management

Issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

    What it is
The international standard for environmental management systems. It requires a company to identify the environmental effects of its operations (energy, waste, emissions and materials), meet the law that applies to them, set targets to reduce them and show progress at audit.
    How we apply it
    Environmental management across manufacturing operations.
    Applies to
    Company-wide management system
  • ISO 45001

    Occupational Health & Safety

Issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

    What it is
The international standard for occupational health and safety management systems, which replaced OHSAS 18001. It requires hazards to be identified and controlled before they cause harm, workers to take part in the safety system, and every incident to be investigated to its cause.
    How we apply it
Health and safety management on the factory floor.
    Applies to
    Company-wide management system

Performance & construction

The rating methods and construction standards behind the figures on a datasheet: coil duty, air performance, duct gauge and seal.

  • AHRI Certified

    Coil Selection (Unilab)

Issued by Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), USA

    What it is
AHRI runs independent performance certification for HVAC equipment and selection software. Products are tested in third-party laboratories, and a certified rating has to match the measured result within set tolerances.
    How we apply it
Coil performance selected on AHRI-certified software, so quoted duty matches tested duty.
    Applies to
  • AMCA

    Air Movement & Control Compliance

Issued by Air Movement and Control Association International (AMCA)

    What it is
AMCA publishes the laboratory test methods the industry uses to rate air-moving and air-control products (fans, dampers, louvres and air curtains) for airflow, pressure, leakage and sound, so figures from different makers can be compared on the same basis.
    How we apply it
Air performance ratings established to AMCA methods.
    Applies to
  • SMACNA

    Duct Construction Standards

Issued by Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACNA), USA

    What it is
SMACNA's HVAC Duct Construction Standards set how sheet-metal ductwork is built for a given pressure class: sheet gauge, joints and seams, reinforcement spacing and sealing. Consultants across the region specify ductwork by reference to them.
    How we apply it
Duct construction, sealing and pressure classification.
    Applies to

Hygiene & life safety

What hospitals, cleanrooms and fire engineers specify: air paths that stay clean, and dampers that close when they must.

  • VDI 6022

    Hygiene Requirements, Parts 1 & 3

Issued by Association of German Engineers (VDI)

    What it is
The German guideline for hygiene in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. Components in the air stream must not support microbial growth, must not release fibres or harmful substances, and must not trap dirt where it cannot be cleaned.
    How we apply it
Sound attenuators certified with biosoluble, hygienically safe media.
    Applies to
  • DIN 1946 Part 4

    Ventilation in Healthcare Buildings

Issued by German Institute for Standardization (DIN)

    What it is
The German standard for ventilation and air conditioning in hospitals and other healthcare buildings. It classes rooms by the protection they need, from operating theatres down, and sets filtration, airflow direction and component hygiene for each class.
    How we apply it
The standard hospital tenders in this region are written against.
    Applies to
  • UL Listed

    Fusible Links to 165 °C

Issued by UL Solutions (Underwriters Laboratories), USA

    What it is
A UL Listing means samples of a product were tested by UL against a published safety standard and that its production is inspected by UL on an ongoing basis. In a fire damper the fusible link is the safety-critical part: it melts at its rated temperature and releases the blades to close.
    How we apply it
Fire and smoke damper release components, UL listed.
    Applies to

Testing & quality assurance

Four checks, in the order a unit meets them: at selection, in the coil shop, on the assembled casing and against the approved damper schedule.

  1. AHRI-certified selection

Coil duty is selected on AHRI-certified Unilab software, so quoted performance matches tested performance.

  2. Hydrostatic coil testing

Every coil we manufacture is pressure tested before it enters a unit.

  3. Casing leakage test

Air handling unit casings are leakage tested before dispatch.

  4. Damper release verification

UL-listed fusible links rated to 165 °C, verified against the approved schedule.
