Overview

A coil is where an air handling unit does its work, so its duty has to be right on paper and in the unit. We design chilled water, DX and heating coils on AHRI-certified Unilab selection software, so the capacity on the submittal is the capacity the coil is built to.

Tubes are high-efficiency copper from 3/8 to 5/8 inch; fins are blue hydrophilic-coated aluminium or copper. Every coil is hydrostatically tested before it leaves the factory, and in our own units coils sit on a sliding mechanism above a rustproof condensate pan, so they can be withdrawn for maintenance.

We also build coils on their own — for other units, and as replacements made to the dimensions of the coil already installed — and supply them to customers worldwide.

Replacement Coils

A like-for-like coil for the unit you already have

  1. Exact fit

A 100% match to your unit's original dimensions and technical specifications, for a direct, seamless installation on the same mounting and connection points, with no modification on site.

  2. AHRI-certified selection

Coils are selected and sized on internationally recognised AHRI-certified software, so cooling capacity and airflow match the original performance 100%.

  3. Every application

Available for all applications and systems (Chilled Water - Heating).

  4. Materials

Copper tubes (3/8 to 5/8 inch) with coated aluminium or copper fins, for maximum heat transfer and a longer service life.

Certifications & standards

What each mark on this product means, who issues it and how it applies here.

All certifications & standards
  • AHRI Certified

    Coil Selection (Unilab)

Issued by Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), USA

    What it is
AHRI runs independent performance certification for HVAC equipment and selection software. Products are tested in third-party laboratories, and a certified rating has to match the measured result within set tolerances.
    On this product
The coils are selected on AHRI-certified Unilab software, so the capacity quoted on your submittal is the capacity the coil delivers when it is tested.
  • ISO 9001

    Quality Management Systems

Issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

    What it is
The international standard for quality management systems. A certified company works to documented processes, checks its output against them, records what it finds and corrects the cause of any fault, and is audited on all of it by an independent certification body.
    On this product
Designed, fabricated and inspected under our certified ISO 9001 quality system: the same documented process for every unit, whichever of our factories builds it.

Frequently asked

For anything these answers do not cover, speak to one of our engineers directly.

Can you replace a coil in a unit from another manufacturer?

Yes. We build replacement coils to the dimensions and connections of the coil already installed, selected for the duty it has to deliver.

Why hydrophilic-coated fins?

The coating lets condensate spread and drain off the fins instead of beading between them, which keeps the air path clear on a wet cooling coil. Copper fins are available where the environment calls for them.

How is each coil tested?

Every coil is hydrostatically pressure tested before it leaves the factory or goes into one of our units.
