Overview

A roof top package unit puts the whole cooling plant — compressor, condenser, evaporator coil and supply fan — in one casing on the roof, so the building needs no plant room and no chilled water system. Ours run from 5 to 62.5 tons, as a standard package or a split package.

They are built around robust tropical compressors and rated for 50 °C ambient, the summer the Gulf and North Africa actually have.

Filtration and air treatment go as far as the space needs: bag or absolute (HEPA) filters for medical and pharmaceutical duty, a UV lamp section, humidifier and dehumidifier sections, and an electric heater for the heating season.

Where the air has to stay clean and the casing has to survive cleaning chemicals, the package unit is built in stainless steel. Our 5-ton hygienic unit serves pharmaceutical production, food processing and cleanrooms that need superior hygiene and chemical resistance.

What it is

AHRI runs independent performance certification for HVAC equipment and selection software. Products are tested in third-party laboratories, and a certified rating has to match the measured result within set tolerances.

On this product

The coils are selected on AHRI-certified Unilab software, so the capacity quoted on your submittal is the capacity the coil delivers when it is tested.
