Overview

Versatile air distribution. Supply air grilles use adjustable aerofoil blades behind a 32 mm border — in one plane for single deflection, or front and rear sets for double deflection — so the air can be aimed in one plane or in two. Fully open, they give up to 70% free area.

An opposed-blade damper can be fitted behind the blades to set the flow. The grilles fit directly into the duct, or on a subframe into builders' work, with screw fixing as standard and spring clips or concealed fixing on request.

Standard sizes run from 100 to 1,200 mm long and 100 to 600 mm high, and larger grilles are supplied in sections. In independent tests at Cairo University's Measurements and Calibration Labs, a 500 × 250 mm grille delivered 810 to 2,507 m³/h at 29 dB.

Certifications & standards

What each mark on this product means, who issues it and how it applies here.

All certifications & standards
  • ISO 9001

    Quality Management Systems

Issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

    What it is
The international standard for quality management systems. A certified company works to documented processes, checks its output against them, records what it finds and corrects the cause of any fault, and is audited on all of it by an independent certification body.
    On this product
Designed, fabricated and inspected under our certified ISO 9001 quality system: the same documented process for every unit, whichever of our factories builds it.

Frequently asked

For anything these answers do not cover, speak to one of our engineers directly.

How do I size a supply grille?

From the air volume and the design velocity, find the effective area (Veff = Q ÷ (Aeff × 3,600)), choose the grille from the effective area table, then check the throw, pressure loss and noise.

Has the grille been independently tested?

Yes. Cairo University's Measurements and Calibration Labs measured a 500 × 250 mm grille from 810 to 2,507 m³/h and recorded 29 dB at every point (certificate MCL 0721801Z/B).

What if the grille is not near the ceiling?

Throw data is given with ceiling effect; without it, take about 0.7 of the tabulated throw.
