Overview

Round ceiling diffusers spread the air evenly in every direction from a single outlet: the circular design guarantees uniform radial discharge across the space, for supply air differentials from +10 K to −10 K.

Supply and extract versions have different internal control elements, so each is quiet in its own flow. The face installs and removes through one central screw under a decorative cap, and comes as face only, with a butterfly damper or connecting ring, or complete with a galvanized plenum box with top or side entry and a damper set from the face.

Necks run from 100 to 600 mm. A 150 mm neck handles 70 – 630 m³/h and a 600 mm neck 1,035 – 9,315 m³/h at 1 to 9 m/s. For installation into high-velocity ducts there are flap dampers, air straighteners and duct-mounting subframes.

What airflow does a round ceiling diffuser handle?

From 70 m³/h on a 150 mm neck at 1 m/s up to 9,315 m³/h on a 600 mm neck at 9 m/s. At a typical 3 m/s neck velocity, a 150 mm neck passes 210 m³/h at about 25 dB(A).

Can the same diffuser be used for extract?

Yes, with the extract version of the internals and plenum box, which are built for the different flow so it stays quiet.

How is the face removed for access?

Through a single central screw hidden under a decorative cap.
