Overview

A pressurised zone only works while its pressure holds. Pressure relief dampers open to release excess air and keep the zone at its design pressure, whether it is a stair core held above the floors around it or a cleanroom held above its corridor.

They are self-acting: the pressure difference itself opens the blades, against a counterweight that is adjusted to low, medium or high to set the opening point, so no power or control wiring is needed. Sizes run from 100 × 100 mm to 1000 × 1000 mm.
