Overview

The ultimate defence against micro-contaminants and odorous substances. A terminal filter box puts the HEPA filter at the very end of the duct, so the air is filtered as it enters the room — the standard for air purity and sterilisation in medicine, biology, pharmacy and sensitive industry.

The housing is gas-tight welded sheet steel, stove enamelled, with a side or back entry duct connection and a clamping device that seats the mini-pleat HEPA cell evenly, capturing up to 99.97% of particles, bacteria and viruses. It comes with or without a leak test device, with measuring points for the operating pressure differential, and a room-side manometer connection on request that doubles as a smoke aerosol test point.

The diffuser face is anodized aluminium extrusion or perforated stainless steel, held by a central fixing for uniform clamping pressure and easy removal for filter changes and decontamination. An optional damper, set from the face with a key, balances each outlet. Boxes take cells of 305, 457 or 610 mm square, handling 250 to 2,000 m³/h, as individual units or a complete system.

Certifications & standards

What each mark on this product means, who issues it and how it applies here.

All certifications & standards
  • ISO 9001

    Quality Management Systems

Issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

    What it is
The international standard for quality management systems. A certified company works to documented processes, checks its output against them, records what it finds and corrects the cause of any fault, and is audited on all of it by an independent certification body.

Frequently asked

For anything these answers do not cover, speak to one of our engineers directly.

How is the filter seal tested?

The housing can carry a leak test device and measuring points for the pressure differential, and a room-side manometer connection on request serves as the smoke aerosol test point.

How much air does one box handle?

250 m³/h with a 305 mm cell, 600 m³/h with 457 mm, and up to 2,000 m³/h with a deep 610 mm cell.

How is the filter changed?

From the room: the diffuser face comes off at its central fixing, giving direct access to the clamped cell for replacement and decontamination.
